Insurers must payout if business had business interruption insurance
Been kept pretty quiet though
Many small businesses found out that when they tried to claim on their insurance for business interruption due to the enforced closures in 2020 the insurance companies would not pay out as the closure had been done under “covid legislation” which were all S.I.s and not the Public Health (Control of Disease) Act 1984 which is an Act of Parliament and has many requirements in it that must be followed on individual person and businesses to restrict their movements or trade and which has a compensation clause in it - the S.I.s do NOT have any of these requirements and gives Councils and authorities power without responsibility which they grabbed with both hands and enjoyed threatening the populace with.
But the UK Supreme Court ruled differently:

I sent this information the various trade bodies and the FSB who then did exactly ZERO to inform their members of the outcome of this case.
Anyone reading this out there know a small business owner.
Pass the information on.
