Reposting a few earlier substacks in case you haven't seen them as they seem relevant given the Daily Mail's mention of the masking studies
I know I don't go through back posts when I find a new author so don't see why anyone else would although you may miss a few tasty recipes on mine
I got involved in this aspect of “covid” when I was asked by a team of lawyers in mid-2020 to write a risk assessment for them to do outside filming as part of their case presentation and I found that I could NOT do it.
I literally could not write a risk assessment supporting any of the “covid” precautions that were in guidelines and so on as there was ZERO scientific evidence available to meet the “evidence based” part of “evidence based risk assessment”.
These posts are part of my research.
The post on what the BMA told me about the science and justification for wearing a face covering:
In England, and the rest of the home countries were the same, virtually all companies (and I had a run in with a few while out working and delivering and they all backed down when challenged on their risk assessment) introduced the policy of wearing face coverings, social distancing in their offices etc when it wasn’t legally required (and this included cruise ships which were specifically exempt under the legislation, private transportation as this is different from public transportation and that included helicopters for going offshore and on aircraft when outside English controlled airspace) then to compound the problems they did NOT write an evidence based risk assessment that met legal requirements nor could they supply any supporting evidence.
Even on the Health and Safety Executive’s website where they had a ”covid” risk assessment posted it clearly stated something along the lines of:
This is an example only. Do not copy and paste this risk assessment then put your company logo on it. It does not meet the legal requirements for a risk assessment. Do your own research.
But guess what companies did?
That’s right - exactly what the H+SE told them NOT to do.
This also applied to councils who threw their weight around as wannabe Nazis and then when I challenged our local councils they backed down and admitted that all a company had to do was tell them “we’ve done our research, here’s our evidence based risk assessment with supporting documentary evidence and we will follow that”. Council could do nothing against them after that.
One council removed their copy and paste risk assessment from their website after admitting there could be legal issues with it.
The local NHS Trust even admitted to breaking the law and didn’t care:
Now I am a member of the Workers of England union and they were the only union fighting for their members against the policy of wearing face coverings especially in the NHS - I know they were involved in at least 2 cases against the NHS, one of which the Trust dropped the requirements only days before the tribunal of their staff member was due to take place - and would like to think what I sent them helped in some small way.
Thanks AG. Awesome your stance. Well said & presented too.
This is fascinating! I really wish I had come across it earlier.
