Looking at them is a good reminder of just how much fear-porn, outright psychological warfare and manipulated statistics we were bombarded with back then.

Glad I did my own research plus I seem to be one of the 20% or so “immune” to “TV programming” which is why the advertising and product placements don’t work on me - this way television (and tablets, mobiles and social media like facebook) affects the different hemispheres of the brain within seconds of you seeing a screen is fascinating and maybe worth a substack post in the future.

As one researcher had quoted when I was doing some reading about this subject “there is a reason why it’s called TV programming”.
