Watched Demolition Man the other evening, Mrs Awkward suddenly realised how prophetic the film was with just to name a few:

• breakdown of civillisation, Los Angeles not far away from this now is it? Wasn’t when we were there 5 years ago anyway.

• electric cars

• self-driving cars

• RFID chips

• ipads/tablets

• total control of movements

• lack of food choice

• continuous monitoring of thoughts and actions

• conformist behaviour or else

I know how Edgar Friendly feels:

Mrs Awkward says if the 2 choices are between a free life with no toilet paper or a conformist, boring life with no toilet paper (she doesn’t like the 3 sea shells thing) then can she go in the deep freeze?
