I cannot believe these GCSE exam papers from 2008
Ye Gods how education standards have dropped
If these were the papers in 2008 what are they like now?
I don’t really want to look on the AQA website and find out.
But no wonder a young engineer with a Masters in engineering I had as an assistant for a while could not work out how many times in a 24 hour period a piece of equipment went round when given the following information:
the average RPM
the running time in minutes
After 12 years in full-time education and this is what the final exams were/still are?
I did Maths O Level in 1981 and remember seeing 1960s past papers. Chalk and cheese then, definitely dumbed down worse now. All must have prizes
Vaccination propaganda in the papers. I achieved an A in my GCE Biology in 1976. I have no memory of whether it included vaccine questions.
