I doubt you or Mrs Awkward expected anything more than these standardised paragraphs and obfuscation.
Personally, I gave up writing to MPs years ago. They are gatekeeping for the telecoms industry in the same way that they gatekeep for Big Agriculture, Big P-Harma and their overlords in the City of London. Far too much cap-doffing going on, but hey, what can we do?
I have a document (loaded with references) which tackles ICNIRP head on.... I suppose you could always try sending it to the nerds in the Commons but I doubt that they will a) understand it and b) give a flying fluff about the terrible reality that we are inescapably living in a murder zone.
I, too, have had very similar responses when writing to my MP. Our elected representatives are merely post boxes - they do not have the wit nor interest to even comment on the standard civil service jargon that such replies contain, nor on the obvious propaganda that they mostly comprise. The lack of technical and engineering knowledge when replying to such issues raised is terrifying.
Even the National Infrastructure Committee’s personnel that are chartered engineers have become totally subsumed into the world’s greatest scam.
Keep the letter to hand to use when they start forcing smart meters! 👏👏
Handily filed for my day in court.

Keeps me amused when I'm bored.
Thanks for the link, will give it those who say "but limits are within the standards".
