Was the 2nd and subsequent lockdowns a political rather than medical decision?
I think they were based on this comment by Jeremy Hunt in an e-mail to me
Following on from the last post I looked up my e-mail run-in with Jeremy Hunt MP.
Previously posted here:

At the time he was the Chair of the Parliamentary Health and Social Care committee.
His comment:
I disagree with you that precautions around hand-washing were sufficient in March 2020
Well it was NOT me who said that these precautions were sufficient it was the CMO Chris Whitty I was quoting to Jeremy Hunt and who admits he disagrees with the CMO.
Jeremy Hunt MP ignores this point and seems to be either deliberately trying to say I stated this and not the CMO or did not understand what I wrote and asked.
Which do you think it is?
How much medical training does Jeremy Hunt have that means he has more specialised knowledge on this subject than his Chief Medical Officer?
About as much as I do from reading this:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jeremy_Hunt
But I can at least say I have researched the subject which is more than he can say I suspect.
So here’s a poll:
Thank AG. Getting any straight answer, from any politicoturd anywhere on earth, would indeed be a miracle!
