Well, yes, and no. Your deductive reasoning seems to be based on the assumption that there was a novel deadly virus spreading which hit our shores in late February / early March.
However, as we now know, most of the deaths were in fact, due to what might politely be termed “medical misadventure”.
The decline in deaths was due to habituation to the sudden disruption to health and social care consequent to the hysteria, the realization that what was being done was inhumane and quite simply wrong medically, and the depletion of people vulnerable to such ill treatment.
Let’s not prop up their fraudulent fictional narrative with such analyses.
Maybe I didn't word it right - my point is not that there wasn't a deadly virus or why people "died" and all that associated shennanigans but the 3 years plus of deafening silence from MSM, politicians, and government experts who would have all known that the first lockdown was pointless from a "medical" point of view.
Plus why is it coming out or being discussed now?
Is the Hallett Inquiry under new orders and changing course to "it was a screw up big time" rather than "we did the best we could" with the knowledge we had" as "the knowledge" always was wrong and they cannot keep that quiet much longer?
Makes these 2 substacks more interesting? relevant?
I understood that was done so that off-label and/or untried treatments could not be used such as HCQ, Ivermectin etc.
If it had stayed a HCID then all treatments could be legitimately and legally tried in an all out effort to treat it, downgrade it and then this was not possible.
Add in the law changes taking away all the post-Shipman protections, teh alw changes to make untested mRNA injections legal and the easier reporting of "covid deaths" then it all stinks as being known in advance what the plan was.
FYI, see my emails to Chris Whitty and Patrick Vallance:

They downgraded it from HCID 19/3/20 everything they did after that was an overreaction...
